Trips
We encourage every student, outside of the classroom on trips, to acquire the knowledge, skills and experience necessary to promote to the full their spiritual, moral, cultural, mental and physical development, this encourages students to develop confidence, self-respect and a knowledge and understanding of other cultures and lifestyles, and to foster a growing sense of responsibility both within the school and in the wider community.
We establish and maintain links with the wider community and, in particular, welcome the help and support of our parents. To use every possible opportunity to enrich the experience for students by taking them to places many would otherwise never get to see.
Closer to home, we make excellent use of the opportunities that Leicester and the surrounding area provides for exhibitions, productions, and days out. For example, Duxford Air Museum, Kenilworth Castle, Leeds Armouries, Cadbury’s World, Go ape, Stratford’s theatres, Loughborough University, The Space Centre and The Leicester Royal Infirmary, to name but a very few. In addition, our renowned sporting success sees students competing locally and nationally with trips all over the UK.
